Community Notice: We would like to announce the plan for this year's trunk or treat event at Digby Wesleyan Church. In order to manage the flow of traffic effectively, the road will be blocked off by the RCMP at the lights on the corner of Victoria Street and Warwick Street on the KFC side, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Sunday, October 31st.

This means that traffic will have to come from the northern parts of Victoria Street, approaching from the direction of places such as the Police Station, Bayview Animal Hospital, DQ and Pizza Delight. Vehicles wishing to stop in will enter the second entrance of the church parking lot on the left. They will then pick up their candy and proceed through the “U” shaped drive-thru. Vehicles will exit the parking lot, turn right, and head northbound the same way they came in.

Those not wishing to participate are encouraged to avoid this area of Victoria Street during this hour and a half. Please share and get the word out.

Operation Shoe Box!

 Any shoebox will do...fill it...donate $10 for shipping and change a families life!   Fill with what?  School supplies (Solar calculators, pencils, pens, etc), hygiene items (soap, comps, washcloths, toothbrush, etc), Accessories (t-shirts, socks, sunglasses, watch, etc), Crafts (finger puppets, bracelets, etc) and a personal note!   Last Sunday to drop them off?   Nov 14th.

Tuesday Night is back soon!

Keep the date! We are going to 'Serve' the week before we start 'Service'! Tuesday night will be back on Oct 5th, 7 pm, at the Deep Brook/Waldec Lions Club! We are going to meet the Tuesday before (Sept 28th, 6 pm) at the Lions club to serve a senior by putting in her winter wood! So excited to help out in this way!

Thank you for your prayers for Japan during the Olympics and Paralympics! Those events finished well under COVID. Instead of various ministry plans related to the events, which were canceled, prayers from all over the world poured to Japan through collaboration by many prayer networks of different nations and denominations during this season.
