Opening soon-New procedures!
WE ARE OPENING!!!!!!! PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!
DWC Opening Guidelines:
Opening:
Services will resume the week of July 5th. You are required to book a seat and service time. Two services: 9 am & 11 am.
Please do not book a seat if you are feeling ill (Cough, running nose, etc). You can only book each week at a time.
Booking a Seat:
You must call and reserve a seat (902 245 4634). Confirmation will be given. Please do not show up unless you have a confirmation that your seats are saved. Thus, if leaving a message…please leave a call back number.
-We will have 75 chairs set up (half our regular seating) but we will only be taking reservations for 50 so that we can practice safe distancing according to the provincial guidelines.
-Washrooms will not be open for use. So please do your best to address this…of course…if you need facilities…we will be sensitive to that. But the understanding is that washrooms should be closed unless an emergency.
-Coffee and Water will not be provided. You must bring your own and take containers with you.
-The stage is off limits.
-The nursery is off limits.
- Be sensitive to others.
Parking Lot Changes:
Households can travel together in Vehicles. Please follow the new procedures in the ‘parking lot’.
-You must park 6 feet from another vehicle.
-Come in one family at a time. If there are those walking in…give them a minute.
-No visiting in the parking lot.
Inside the Door:
-Everyone must sanitize their hands inside the door. Station will be available for you.
-Must sit with your family inside. Must have three empty seats between households. If you are first in a row…go to the end.
-No ‘greeters’ or ‘welcome time’ as before. (Changed until further notice).
-No passing of objects. (Changed until further notice).
-We encourage people to wear a mask during service. Masks are optional. We recognize that some find it hard to breathe with certain conditions and leave that to your discretion.
After Service:
-Households must leave together.
-No visiting in the parking lot.
Special Note:
I know its not ‘church’ as we are used too but we feel that this rigid format will allow us to move forward while we wait for ‘normal’ to return!
We also want to be clear that our podcast will be available each week. There is no pressure to attend. We understand that some will be nervous for some time to come. We want church to always be a positive experience for all. So only come back when you are ready.
*Additional services could be added depending upon need.
THER ARE A FEW THAT ARE NOT ONLINE...HELP US GET THE WORD OUT!

Felt blessed today with memories. Dave Cook stopped in to share a carving done by a mutual friend who has gone on to glory several years ago. Victor Freeman impacted my life. He was a great encouragement to me and crucial to the history of DWC. So neat to think of the Saints who have gone before us.

Prayer for Robin and Yoko White (Japan Missionaries).
Prayer Points:
1. Financial update -- We appreciate your prayer and financial partnership! Our faith promise total is now at 68%. Thankfully we have some new partnerships every week! God willing, we are praying that we can go back to Japan late this summer, but before that we need 100%.
Please pray for God to provide the rest of the partners we need, and let us know if you'd like to become one yourself.
2. Partnership Development -- In May, we worked at home and had various chances to do Partnership Development -- making videos, doing interviews and taking part in online meetings with GP, etc. Some churches will start gathering again soon, but we will need to continue partnership development mainly online.
Please pray for God to give us abundant wisdom and chances for building better partnerships.
3. Japan -- The number of patients was going down, but for the past week, some areas are having a second wave. From March till the end of May, many churches stopped gathering and now many of them have restarted. Most of them have small rooms for Sunday worship, so a lot of challenges continue.
Please pray for God to encourage church leaders.
Thank you so much for your continuous and faithful prayer!!! Please let us know how we can pray for you!
God Bless,
God Bless,
- Yoko (& Robin) White
